Every Friday in downtown Binghamton, they have a lunch concert and farmers market. So I took advantage of the beautiful weather today and sat on the courthouse steps to sketch. Shame I left before the music started, though. Lots of construction going on to beautify Binghamton.
I found the perfect parking spot to sketch – I wanted to sketch it for EDiM #2 (2012), which is about a new years resolution of mine – balance. To find just the right balance for myself.
It was late afternoon, and the way the sun shone on it made it look more, well, courtly!
Every Friday throughout the summer, Binghamton has music and a Farmer’s market Friday afternoons.

This time the courthouse was being maintained, so I drew the men working.
This young lady had a suitcase, and sat down to enjoy the music. Binghamton isn’t that large of a city – I wonder where she was going?
