Relaxing to some excellent tunes from Christian McBride, Lisa Fischer, Hiromi and so many other superb musicians.  We didn’t stay for Diana Krall Sunday night, as we all had to get up for work the next day.  It was a perfectly sunny and very hot day!  For me (the sketcher) I really appreciated the fact that most people were kind enough (and logy from the heat!) to sit still long enough for me to sketch.

No musician sketches yet, but that Hiromi is one amazing pianist!  She is so full of joy and energy that she jumps up, looks like she’s just making a noisy mess when she bangs her forearm on the keys (no ‘tickling’ the ivories for her!), and the sounds she makes are mesmerizing and wonderful to see and hear.
